Bilge Blocks

Bilge blocks are wooden or metal supports used to keep a vessel upright when it is out of the water for repairs or maintenance. They are placed under the bilge of the ship, which is the lowest part of the hull, to prevent the vessel from tipping over. Bilge blocks are carefully positioned to ensure that the weight of the ship is evenly distributed and that the vessel remains stable while it is being worked on. They are an essential tool for shipyards and maintenance crews, as they allow for safe and efficient repairs to be made to the hull and other parts of the vessel.
