Exploration And Production

Exploration and Production (E&P) is the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry that involves searching for underground or underwater oil and gas fields, drilling exploratory wells, and subsequently drilling and operating the wells that recover and bring the crude oil and/or raw natural gas to the surface. The E&P process includes geological and geophysical surveys, seismic studies, drilling, well completion, and production operations. E&P companies are responsible for the entire process of oil and gas extraction, from initial exploration to final production. The success of E&P activities depends on various factors such as the availability of resources, technological advancements, and market demand.
