Man Overboard

Man Overboard (MOB) is a situation in which a person falls off a vessel into the water and is in danger of drowning. MOB can occur due to various reasons such as losing balance, being hit by a wave, or not following safety procedures. In such situations, the crew must act quickly and efficiently to rescue the person. The vessel must be stopped immediately, and the crew must throw a lifebuoy or any other floating device towards the person in the water. The crew must also keep a constant eye on the person and maintain communication with them until they are safely rescued. MOB is a serious emergency situation that requires prompt action and can be prevented by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate safety gear.
