Safety Lines

Safety lines are ropes or webbing lines that are used to prevent a person from falling overboard or off a high surface on a vessel. They are typically made of strong, durable materials and are attached to a person's harness or life jacket. Safety lines are an essential component of personal protective equipment (PPE) for anyone working on a vessel, especially in rough seas or adverse weather conditions. They are also used during rescue operations to secure a person who has fallen overboard. Safety lines must be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure their effectiveness in preventing accidents and protecting lives.
