Safety Nets

Safety nets are a type of fall protection system used on ships to prevent crew members from falling overboard or from one level of the ship to another. They are typically made of strong, durable materials such as nylon or polypropylene and are designed to withstand the weight of a person falling onto them. Safety nets are installed around the perimeter of the ship, as well as in areas where crew members are working at heights, such as on the mast or rigging. They are an essential safety feature on ships and are required by international maritime regulations.
