Unship
Unship is a verb that refers to the process of removing or taking down equipment, cargo, or stores from a ship. This process is usually carried out when a ship is about to undergo repairs, maintenance, or when it is being decommissioned. Unshipping involves the removal of all items that are not essential to the operation of the ship, such as furniture, fittings, and personal belongings of the crew. The process is also used to lighten the ship's load, making it easier to maneuver in shallow waters or when passing through narrow channels. Unshipping is an important aspect of ship maintenance and is carried out to ensure the safety and efficiency of the vessel.
