Air Stations

Air Stations are facilities located on land or on ships that are used for the operation and maintenance of aircraft in support of maritime operations. These stations provide a base for aircraft to take off and land, as well as for maintenance and repair. Air Stations are an essential component of maritime aviation, providing critical support for search and rescue operations, maritime patrol, and other missions. They are typically equipped with runways, hangars, fuel storage facilities, and other infrastructure necessary for the operation of aircraft. Air Stations may be operated by military or civilian organizations, and may be located in remote or inhospitable environments. They are often strategically located to provide coverage over large areas of ocean, and may be used to support operations in both peacetime and wartime.
