Anti-ship Warfare

Anti-ship warfare (AShW) is a military strategy that involves the use of various weapons, tactics, and technologies to attack enemy naval vessels. AShW can be conducted by surface ships, submarines, aircraft, and land-based missile systems. The goal of AShW is to disable or destroy enemy ships, disrupt their operations, and deny them access to certain areas. AShW weapons include torpedoes, missiles, mines, and guns. Tactics used in AShW include ambushes, hit-and-run attacks, and coordinated strikes. AShW technologies include radar, sonar, and electronic warfare systems. AShW is a critical component of modern naval warfare and is used by navies around the world to protect their own ships and to project power against potential adversaries.
