Battleships
Battleships are large, heavily armored warships designed to engage in naval combat with other battleships. Battleships were the backbone of naval warfare during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and played a significant role in both World War I and World War II. They were eventually replaced by aircraft carriers as the primary capital ships of modern navies.
