Bending Rolls

Bending rolls, also known as plate bending rolls or slip rolls, are machines used in the maritime industry to bend and shape metal plates and sheets. They consist of three rollers, with the top roller being adjustable to apply pressure to the metal as it passes through the machine. Bending rolls are commonly used in shipbuilding and repair to create curved sections of hulls, decks, and bulkheads. They are also used in the fabrication of various components such as pipes, ducts, and tanks. The size and capacity of bending rolls vary depending on the thickness and width of the metal being worked on.
