Berths

Berths refer to the designated areas in a port where a vessel can be moored or anchored. These areas are equipped with facilities such as bollards, cleats, and mooring lines to secure the vessel in place. Berths can be designed for different types and sizes of vessels, and can be located in different parts of the port depending on the vessel's purpose and cargo. The availability of berths can be a limiting factor for the number of vessels that can be accommodated in a port at any given time, and the efficiency of cargo handling operations. Berths can also be leased or rented out to vessel operators for a specific period of time.
