Cargo Boom

A cargo boom is a long, pivoting device used on ships to load and unload cargo. It is typically mounted on the deck of the ship and can swing out over the water or the dock to move cargo on and off the ship. Cargo booms are often used in conjunction with cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy or bulky items. They are commonly found on cargo ships, container ships, and other vessels that transport large amounts of goods. The size and capacity of a cargo boom can vary depending on the type of ship and the cargo being transported.
