Environmental Control System

Environmental Control System (ECS) is a system on board a ship that is responsible for maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for the crew and passengers. It includes various subsystems such as air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and humidity control. ECS also manages the air quality by removing contaminants and regulating the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels. In addition, it controls the temperature and humidity of cargo holds to prevent damage to the cargo. The system is designed to operate efficiently and effectively, while minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.
