Environmental Management System

An Environmental Management System (EMS) is a framework that helps organizations to manage their environmental impacts and improve their environmental performance. It involves a systematic approach to identifying and managing environmental risks and opportunities, setting environmental objectives and targets, and implementing programs and procedures to achieve those objectives and targets. An EMS typically includes policies, procedures, and processes for managing environmental aspects such as air emissions, water discharges, waste management, and energy use. It also involves monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, and continually improving the EMS through regular reviews and audits.
