Fixed Fire Suppression Systems
Fixed Fire Suppression Systems are pre-engineered fire protection systems designed to automatically detect and suppress fires in enclosed spaces on board ships. These systems typically consist of a network of pipes, nozzles, and valves that are connected to a water supply or other extinguishing agent. When a fire is detected, the system releases the extinguishing agent through the nozzles to quickly and effectively suppress the fire. Fixed Fire Suppression Systems are commonly used in engine rooms, machinery spaces, cargo holds, and other high-risk areas on board ships to protect personnel, equipment, and cargo from fire damage.
