Launch

Launch is a small boat used for short distances to transport people or goods between a ship and the shore. It is usually propelled by oars or a small motor. Launches are commonly used for pilot transfers, ship-to-ship transfers, and for transporting crew and supplies to and from shore. They are also used for recreational purposes such as fishing and water sports. Launches can be made of various materials such as wood, fiberglass, or aluminum, and can range in size from a few meters to over 20 meters in length.
