Living Chamber

A living chamber is a compartment or a room on a ship where the crew or passengers can rest, sleep, and spend their leisure time. It is usually equipped with bunks or beds, lockers, tables, chairs, and other amenities for the comfort of the occupants. The living chamber may also have ventilation systems, lighting, and temperature control to ensure a healthy and pleasant environment. Depending on the type and size of the vessel, there may be different categories of living chambers, such as officer cabins, crew quarters, or passenger cabins. The design and layout of the living chambers must comply with the safety regulations and standards of the maritime industry.
