LMAA

LMAA stands for the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, which is a leading international association of maritime arbitrators. It was founded in 1961 and is based in London, UK. The LMAA provides a forum for the resolution of disputes arising out of maritime contracts, such as charter parties, bills of lading, and shipbuilding contracts. The LMAA has a panel of experienced arbitrators who are experts in maritime law and practice, and who are appointed to hear disputes by the parties or by the LMAA itself.
