LPG Carrier
An LPG carrier is a type of ship designed for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). LPG carriers are specially built with reinforced cargo tanks to carry volatile and pressurized gases. These ships are classified into two types: fully pressurized ships and semi-pressurized ships. Fully pressurized ships are designed to carry LPG at ambient temperature and pressure, while semi-pressurized ships are designed to carry LPG at a slightly higher pressure and lower temperature. LPG carriers are equipped with advanced safety systems, including gas detection systems, inert gas systems, and cargo handling systems, to ensure the safe transportation of LPG.
