LTIF

Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF) is a measure of the number of lost time injuries within a workplace per million hours worked. In the maritime industry, LTIF is used as a key performance indicator to measure the safety performance of a vessel or a company. Lost time injuries are defined as work-related injuries that result in an employee being unable to work on their next scheduled workday. LTIF is calculated by dividing the number of lost time injuries by the total number of hours worked, and then multiplying by one million.
