Navigational Aid

A navigational aid is any sort of marker which is used to help a ship or boat navigate safely through a waterway. These aids can be natural or artificial, and they are used to help mariners determine their position, chart a course, and avoid hazards. Some common types of navigational aids include lighthouses, buoys, beacons, and radar systems. Navigational aids are essential for safe navigation, particularly in areas with heavy traffic, poor visibility, or dangerous conditions. They are also important for search and rescue operations, as they can help rescuers locate vessels in distress.
