OCIMF

The Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) is a voluntary association of oil companies with an interest in the shipment and terminalling of crude oil, oil products, petrochemicals and gas. OCIMF focuses on the promotion of best practices in the design, construction, and operation of tankers, barges, and offshore vessels, as well as the terminals that handle them. The organization develops and publishes guidelines and recommendations for the industry, including those related to safety, environmental protection, and security. OCIMF also provides a forum for its members to share information and experiences, and to collaborate on initiatives that improve the safety and efficiency of the maritime transportation of oil and gas.
