Radars

Radars are electronic devices that use radio waves to detect and locate objects such as ships, aircraft, and land masses. They emit a radio signal that is reflected back by the object and then detected by the radar receiver. The time it takes for the signal to return is used to calculate the distance to the object, while the frequency shift of the signal is used to determine the object's speed and direction of movement. Radars are an essential tool for navigation, collision avoidance, and search and rescue operations in the maritime industry.
