RMRGC

RMRGC stands for Regional Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre. It is a designated facility responsible for coordinating maritime search and rescue operations within a specified region. RMRGCs are responsible for receiving distress alerts, coordinating search and rescue operations, and ensuring that all necessary resources are deployed to assist vessels in distress. They work closely with other rescue coordination centers, such as national maritime rescue coordination centers and international maritime rescue coordination centers, to ensure that search and rescue operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. RMRGCs play a critical role in ensuring the safety of mariners and the protection of the marine environment.
