Ro-Ro

Ro-Ro (Roll-on/roll-off) is a type of vessel designed to carry wheeled cargo such as cars, trucks, trailers, and railroad cars that are driven on and off the ship on their own wheels. Ro-Ro vessels have built-in ramps that allow the cargo to be loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently. These vessels are commonly used for short sea shipping and are ideal for transporting large volumes of cargo over short distances. Ro-Ro vessels are also used for military purposes, such as transporting tanks and other heavy equipment. The design of Ro-Ro vessels varies depending on the type of cargo they carry and the routes they operate on.
