SRML

SRML stands for Synthetic Rope Mooring Lines. These are high-performance ropes made of synthetic fibers that are used to moor ships and other marine structures. SRMLs are preferred over traditional steel wire ropes because they are lighter, easier to handle, and have higher strength-to-weight ratios. They also have better resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, and fatigue. SRMLs are commonly used in offshore oil and gas operations, as well as in the mooring of ships in ports and harbors. They are available in various sizes and configurations, and their selection depends on the specific application and the load requirements.
