Tower Cranes

Tower cranes are tall, fixed cranes used in the construction industry to lift and move heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. They are typically mounted on a concrete pad or a specially designed base and can reach heights of up to 265 meters. Tower cranes consist of a base, mast, slewing unit, and jib. The jib is the horizontal arm of the crane that carries the load, while the slewing unit allows the crane to rotate. Tower cranes are essential in the construction of tall buildings and structures, as they can lift and move heavy materials to great heights with precision and efficiency.
