Unloading

Unloading refers to the process of removing cargo from a ship's hold or deck. This process can be done manually or with the use of cranes and other heavy equipment. Unloading can take place at a dock or port facility, or it can be done offshore using specialized equipment such as floating cranes or barges. The unloading process must be carefully planned and executed to ensure the safety of the crew, the cargo, and the vessel. Factors such as weather conditions, the weight and type of cargo, and the availability of equipment and personnel must all be taken into account. Once the cargo has been unloaded, it may be transported by truck, train, or other means to its final destination.
