Wardroom

In maritime context, the wardroom is a compartment or space aboard a naval vessel where commissioned officers take their meals and have their quarters. It is a place where officers can relax, socialize, and discuss shipboard business. The wardroom is usually located near the ship's bridge and is accessible only to commissioned officers. It is considered the domain of the ship's officers and is often decorated with items that reflect the ship's history and the officers' personal tastes.
