Wreckage

Wreckage refers to the remains of a ship that has been destroyed, damaged or abandoned and has sunk or washed ashore. It can include any part of the ship, cargo, or equipment that is no longer attached to the vessel. Wreckage can pose a hazard to navigation and the environment, and may also be of historical or archaeological significance. In some cases, wreckage may be salvaged for its valuable cargo or materials. The process of removing wreckage is known as wreck removal, which involves assessing the risks and environmental impact, and using specialized equipment and techniques to safely remove the debris.
