AEDs

AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are portable electronic devices used to diagnose and treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in emergency situations. AEDs analyze the heart's rhythm and deliver an electric shock to restore normal heartbeat if necessary. They are designed to be user-friendly and can be operated by non-medical personnel with minimal training. AEDs are commonly found in public places such as airports, schools, and sports facilities, as well as on board ships and boats. They are an essential tool for first responders and can significantly increase the chances of survival for SCA victims.
