Beachcomber

A beachcomber is a person who searches along the tide line for valuable or useful items that have been washed up on shore. In maritime context, beachcombers were often sailors or pirates who were stranded on an island or shipwrecked and had to survive by scavenging for food, water, and supplies. Beachcombing was also a common activity for indigenous people who lived near the coast and relied on the ocean for their livelihood. Today, beachcombing is a popular hobby and can be a way to learn about marine life and the impact of human activity on the ocean.
