Bonded Warehouse

A bonded warehouse is a secure facility that is authorized by the government to store imported goods until the payment of customs duties and taxes. The goods stored in a bonded warehouse are not subject to import duties and taxes until they are released from the warehouse. Bonded warehouses are often used by importers who need to delay the payment of duties and taxes, or who need to store goods for a longer period of time before they are sold. These warehouses are typically located near ports and other entry points, and are subject to strict security and inventory control measures to prevent theft and fraud.
