Chain Riveting

Chain riveting is a process of joining two or more links of a chain by inserting a rivet through the holes in the links and then hammering the ends of the rivet to secure the links together. This process is commonly used in the maritime industry for repairing or replacing damaged chains on ships and other vessels. Chain riveting requires specialized tools and expertise to ensure that the rivet is properly inserted and secured, as a failure in the chain could have serious consequences for the safety of the vessel and its crew.
