Davits

Davits are small cranes or hoists that are used to lower and raise boats or other equipment from a larger vessel. They are typically found on ships, offshore platforms, and other maritime structures. Davits can be either manual or powered, and are designed to be strong enough to lift heavy loads while also being easy to operate. They are an essential piece of equipment for any vessel that needs to launch and recover smaller boats, such as lifeboats or rescue craft. Davits come in a variety of sizes and configurations, depending on the specific needs of the vessel and the equipment being lifted.
