Evasion

Evasion is a maneuver used by ships to avoid detection or attack by enemy vessels or aircraft. It involves altering the ship's course, speed, and/or position to make it more difficult to track or target. Evasion tactics may include changing course frequently, using decoys or chaff to confuse radar, or hiding in areas of poor visibility such as fog or darkness. Evasion is an important skill for naval vessels during times of conflict, as it can help them avoid enemy fire and maintain their strategic position. However, it can also be used by smugglers or other illicit actors to avoid detection by law enforcement or coast guard vessels.
