FREE OUT
Free Out refers to a type of charter party agreement in the maritime industry where the charterer is responsible for the cost of unloading the cargo from the ship and returning the empty vessel to the owner. In this type of agreement, the owner is only responsible for loading the cargo onto the ship at the port of origin. The charterer is responsible for all costs associated with unloading the cargo at the destination port, including stevedoring, terminal handling charges, and any other fees. Free Out is the opposite of Free In, where the owner is responsible for the cost of unloading the cargo at the destination port.
