GTEE

GTEE stands for Gas Turbine Electrical Engineer. A GTEE is a professional who is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of gas turbine engines and associated electrical systems on board a ship. They are responsible for ensuring that the gas turbine engines are operating efficiently and safely, and that the electrical systems are functioning properly. GTs are used to power many naval vessels, including destroyers, frigates, and aircraft carriers. A GTEE must have a thorough understanding of gas turbine engines and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex problems. They work closely with other members of the ship's engineering department to ensure that the ship is operating at peak performance.
