Hazardous Conditions
Hazardous conditions refer to any situation or circumstance that poses a threat to the safety of a vessel, its crew, or its cargo. These conditions can include extreme weather events such as hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones, as well as other natural phenomena such as heavy fog, icebergs, and strong currents. Hazardous conditions can also be caused by human factors such as equipment failure, navigational errors, and piracy. It is the responsibility of the vessel's captain and crew to identify and respond to hazardous conditions in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure the safety of all on board and the protection of the vessel and its cargo.
