Hovercraft
A hovercraft, also known as an air-cushion vehicle (ACV), is a type of craft that is supported by a cushion of high-pressure air that is ejected from the craft's underside. This cushion allows the craft to travel over a variety of surfaces, including water, ice, mud, and sand, with ease and at high speeds. Hovercraft are used in a variety of maritime applications, including search and rescue, military operations, and commercial transportation. They are particularly useful in areas where traditional boats and ships cannot operate, such as shallow waters, swamps, and ice fields.
