Inserted Packing Red Lead
Inserted Packing Red Lead is a type of sealing material used in maritime industry to prevent leakage of fluids and gases in pipes, valves, and other equipment. It is made of a mixture of lead oxide and other additives, which are compressed and inserted into the gaps between the surfaces to be sealed. The material is highly resistant to corrosion, temperature changes, and chemical reactions, making it suitable for use in harsh marine environments. Inserted Packing Red Lead is commonly used in steam engines, boilers, and other machinery that require high-pressure sealing.
