Integrated Tow

Integrated Tow is a method of towing a vessel where the towline is connected to a point on the vessel's hull, rather than to a traditional towline connection point such as a bitt or a cleat. This method of towing is used when the vessel being towed is too large or too heavy to be towed by traditional methods. Integrated Tow allows for greater control over the vessel being towed, as the towline is connected directly to the hull, reducing the risk of the towline breaking or the vessel being pulled off course. This method of towing is commonly used in the maritime industry for towing large vessels such as oil tankers, cargo ships, and cruise liners.
