Towing

Towing is the process of pulling or hauling a vessel or floating object using another vessel, vehicle or equipment. Towing can be done for various reasons such as to move a disabled vessel, to transport a vessel to a different location, to salvage a sunken vessel, or to assist a vessel in distress. Towing can be performed by a tugboat, a salvage vessel, or any other vessel that has the necessary equipment and power to tow. The towing vessel must have a strong and secure connection to the vessel being towed, and the towline must be of sufficient strength and length to ensure safe and effective towing. Towing operations require careful planning, communication, and coordination between the towing vessel and the vessel being towed.
