Maritime Administration

Maritime Administration refers to the governmental organization responsible for overseeing maritime affairs within a country. This includes the regulation of maritime activities, such as shipping, navigation, and port operations, as well as the development and implementation of policies related to maritime safety, security, and environmental protection. The Maritime Administration also plays a key role in promoting the growth and competitiveness of the domestic maritime industry, including the construction and maintenance of ships, the training of seafarers, and the development of maritime infrastructure. In many countries, the Maritime Administration is part of the transportation ministry or department.
