Resilient Mounts

Resilient mounts are specialized shock-absorbing devices used to isolate machinery and equipment from the hull of a ship. They are designed to reduce the transmission of vibration and noise from the machinery to the ship's structure, which can cause damage and discomfort to crew members. Resilient mounts are typically made of rubber or other elastomeric materials that can flex and absorb shock. They are commonly used in marine propulsion systems, generators, pumps, and other equipment that generate significant vibration and noise. Properly designed and installed resilient mounts can improve the reliability and longevity of machinery, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the comfort and safety of crew members.
