Slush
In maritime context, slush refers to the semi-solid mixture of ice crystals and water that forms on the deck of a ship or on any exposed surface in cold weather conditions. Slush can be a major hazard for ships as it can cause the deck to become slippery and unstable, making it difficult for crew members to move around safely.
