Stabilizer Fins

Stabilizer fins are small, wing-like structures attached to the hull of a ship or boat that help to reduce rolling and improve stability in rough seas. They work by creating lift, which counteracts the rolling motion of the vessel. Stabilizer fins can be fixed or retractable, and are often found on larger ships such as cruise liners and cargo vessels. They are particularly useful in areas with high waves or strong currents, where the ship's stability can be compromised. Stabilizer fins are an important safety feature, as they help to prevent accidents and injuries caused by excessive rolling or pitching of the vessel.
