Support Vessels

Support vessels are ships or boats that provide assistance to other vessels or offshore structures. They are used in a variety of maritime operations such as oil and gas exploration, offshore construction, and military operations. Support vessels can be classified into different types based on their functions such as anchor handling, towing, supply, and standby vessels. Anchor handling vessels are used to move and position anchors for drilling rigs and other offshore structures. Towing vessels are used to tow barges, rigs, and other vessels. Supply vessels are used to transport equipment, personnel, and supplies to offshore platforms. Standby vessels are used to provide emergency response and rescue services in case of accidents or incidents at sea.
