SWDD

SWDD stands for Ship's Workforce Deployment and Development. It is a comprehensive program designed to manage and develop the workforce on board a ship. The program includes identifying the skills and competencies required for each job role, assessing the current workforce, identifying gaps in skills and knowledge, and developing training programs to address these gaps. SWDD also includes succession planning, career development, and performance management. The aim of SWDD is to ensure that the ship's workforce is skilled, competent, and motivated to perform their roles effectively, which in turn contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the ship.
