Waste Management Systems

Waste Management Systems refer to the processes and infrastructure required to manage waste generated on board a vessel. This includes the collection, storage, transportation, treatment, and disposal of waste in an environmentally responsible manner. Waste generated on board can include food waste, plastics, paper, glass, metals, and hazardous materials. Waste Management Systems are designed to minimize the impact of waste on the environment and comply with international regulations such as MARPOL Annex V. Effective waste management systems can also reduce costs associated with waste disposal and improve the overall sustainability of the vessel.
